MINDLESS yobs could turn Scouts into vandals because of their actions, a parent fears.
In recent months the yobs have thrown eggs at 1st Ramsden Scout Group Beavers, sprayed graffiti, wrecked the fence, stolen their minibus and broken into their hut.
Thirty-seven-year-old Helen Pearce, Orpington, is worried her sons could become vandals because of what they have seen around the group's meeting place.
She said: "I'm trying to train my boys to have respect for people and the boys are just seeing the wrong things.
"They think all teens are vandals and it is an okay way to behave as a teenager."
All Scouting activities have been cancelled because the yobs have broken the hut's fire door.
The building on Brow Crescent, Orpington, cannot be used until this door is fixed.
Mrs Pearce believes the yobs should be made to repair the damage to make them appreciate what they have done.
The damage has stopped Mrs Pearce's sons Thomas, eight, and William, six, and more than 50 other members of the Scout group taking part in activities.
Part-time bank worker Mrs Pearce said: "I just feel some people try really hard to do good things and it is snatched away when a few yobs don't have anything better to do.
"If they were faced with what they had done and if they have something taken away from them they really treasure they could see how it feels."
The minibus was stolen from outside the home of Cub Scout leader Pat Sharp's house, in Finucane Drive, Orpington, on November 1.
It was found 15 days later in Farnborough but the group does not know if it is usable because the police have not yet returned the bus.
Mrs Sharp said: "People are taking away our children's activities.
"They need to realise how much money it costs to sort out the problems they cause."
Inspector Paul Etheridge said: "Many parents and supporters work very hard to provide these facilities.
"This senseless damage affects us all."
