DETAILS of an anti-social behaviour order (Asbo) imposed on a 13-year-old boy have now been released to News Shopper.
Bexley Council applied for the order after the boy was convicted at Bexley Magistrates' Court in October but refused to give details about the boy, including his name or the requirements of the order.
Ignoring Home Office recommendations which say details should be made public to enable people to help police the order, the council also failed to give details to residents in the area.
A council spokesman said: "All partner agencies involved and witnesses have been notified with full details."
However, News Shopper has obtained a copy of the order which prohibits the Thamesmead boy from: assaulting, threatening, harassing or acting in a manner as to cause or be likely to cause alarm or distress to people in Bexley and particularly in the West Street area of Erith; damaging or in any way interfering with property belonging to anyone within Bexley; entering Galleon Close, West Street, St John's Road and St Fidelis Road or the Ocean Park estate in Erith; associating or congregating in a public place in Bexley for the sole purpose of committing an offence.
Legal reasons still prevent News Shopper from identifying the boy.
