STREET wardens are organising dance acts to help sickle cell sufferers.
The concert, being organised by Lewisham Warden Service, will be held at Bellingham North Community Centre Hall, Bellingham Green, Bellingham, from 7pm on December 13.
The acts include Tasit d'mour, Urban Essentials, The Oval House Company Crew, Lil Saints and Tily & Cassey.
Money raised will go to Sicklenemia, a Forest Hill-based charity which supports the parents and carers of children with sickle cell.
This is a blood condition, characterised by serious infections and damage to vital organs, which only affects black males.
The new young mayor of Lewisham, Wilf Petherbridge, will be attending the concert and awarding prizes to the winners of the raffle.
Tickets costing £2 for adults and £1 for children will be available on the door.
