MEMBERS of a ladies' club have come up trumps again for their favourite charity.
Sidcup Ladies' Luncheon Club has been donating cash to Cancer Research UK since it first started holding meetings 40 years ago.
To date, it has contributed £300,000 to the charity.
Last week the ladies staged their latest fundraiser, a combined coffee morning and Christmas fair, selling toys, home-made cakes, jewellery and bric-a-brac.
The event raised more than £650. This month the club handed over £6,000 from previous fundraising events to the charity.
