RESIDENTS are still being encouraged to sign up to Lewisham's new recycling lottery.
The Green Box Lottery gives all Lewisham residents who have a green recycling box the chance to win £500 as a reward for their commitment to recycling.
So far more than 700 households have registered but the council still wants more people to get involved before the first draw in December.
Lewisham's new recycling service means households can now recycle 65 per cent of their waste, including plastic bottles, paper, card, glass and cans.
