A SCHOOLBOY has raised £400 for Breast Cancer Research to support his aunt, who is battling the disease.

Luke Boswell ran 50 laps around a basketball court as part of an assault course held at Charlton Manor School, Indus Road, Charlton.

The Thomas Tallis pupil was sponsored by family and friends to do the two-and-half-hour circuit training.

He wanted to help his aunt, Linda Entwistle, 40, who has breast cancer and is undergoing chemotherapy at Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Woolwich.

The 13-year-old, of Holburne Road, Kidbrooke, said: "It was my way of helping my auntie and raising money for a good cause.

"I'm very fit so I enjoyed the challenge."
