SECONDARY school pupils now have £750,000 of new computers and IT gear to help with their studies.
St Thomas More RC School, Footscray Road, Eltham, has invested in 150 computers and equipment for its five new IT suites.
The computers, scanners, cameras and software has been funded by a combination of Government money and cash raised by the parents' association.
Headteacher Gerry Murray says the investment is vital to cement the school's specialist status in maths and computing.
He said: "Our teaching has always been of a very high standard and now we have enhanced resources we can improve our teaching further.
"We believe the students and the wider community will reap the benefits for years to come."
