CHANGING a fuse or tiling a bathroom can all be made easier thanks to a series of practical free courses.
DIY, health and safety and cookery are just a few of the topics available to residents in Dartford and Gravesend.
The courses are funded by Dartford-based Sure Start an initiative providing support for families with children up to the age of four.
Gravesham Council and the North West Council for Voluntary Services helped organise the events.
Voluntary services spokesman Christine Addy said: "The courses give people the independence and empowerment to be able to look after themselves."
Courses are open to Sure Start members in areas including Temple Hill, Kings Farm and Tree Estate.
