RESIDENTS in Erith will be able to find out tonight how art will transform their town centre.
Erith Town Forum will be hearing details from artist Onya McCausland about the art which will decorate the three entrance gates to the new Riverside shopping centre.
Details of street and road improvements to be carried out in the next six months will also be given.
And people will be able to see what the town's High Street conservation area will look like after the work.
Improvements include a new mural of a Thames sailing barge on the side wall of the White Hart pub; changing coloured lights on the side of the Cross Keys pub and new lighting for Erith Playhouse.
The meeting will be held at Erith leisure centre, Avenue, Road, Erith, from 7pm to 9pm.
