GOLD AWARDS: University students and former Townley Grammar School, Bexleyheath, pupils Laura Metcalfe of Harland Avenue, Sidcup, and Sarah Stewart of Cyril Road, Bexleyheath, have been presented with their gold Duke of Edinburgh awards by Prince Philip. Their activities included sailing in the Cutty Sark Tall Ships Race on the Finland to Latvia leg and hiking in Bavaria.
DANCE REUNION: Dancers who attended the former Doris Dorbon School of Dancing in Station Road and Landsdown Road, Sidcup, are being invited to attend its 65th year reunion. FESTIVE CONCERT: The Danson organ, now returned to its original home at Danson Mansion, Danson Park, Welling, will be in action on December 8 for a Christmas concert in the restored library, featuring the choir from St Paulinus Church, Crayford.
