THE theatre and Bexley's first citizen have combined their efforts to raise cash for charity.
Students at Rose Bruford drama and theatre college, Burnt Oak Lane, Sidcup, offered half the cash from a performance of the English comedy The Way of the World by William Congreve to this year's Mayor's charity appeal.
Bexley mayor Councillor John Shepheard attended the performance, which raised more than £200 for the Ellenor Foundation.
The charity provides care for people with life-limiting illnesses in their own homes.
