BEXLEY Police are appealing for the public's help in identifying three youths they want to speak to about two separate robberies.

They have released a CCTV picture of two boys suspected of assaulting and robbing a minicab driver in Abbey Wood.

It is thought they are aged between 12 and 15 years.

The driver, aged 20, who works for a Dartford-based company, was sent by his controller to pick up three passengers at an address in Ingram Road, Dartford.

He was to take them first to Florence Road, Abbey Wood, and then to the Temple Hill estate, Dartford.

But once in Florence Road, the two youths threatened the driver, punching him in the face and stealing £25 kept in the central console of the cab before running off.

The third passenger was not involved in the robbery.

The driver suffered minor injuries to his right eye during the incident, which took place just after midnight on September 27.

The second robbery took place on the top deck of a 401 bus at the Clock Tower in Bexleyheath Broadway.

The bus was full of schoolchildren on their way home.

One boy, aged 15, was approached by a black youth aged about 17, who grabbed him and forcibly took him to the back of the bus.

Then the youth punched the younger boy in the face and took his mobile phone and the change from his pocket.

Police would like to talk to the youth caught on CCTV in the area where the robbery took place on October 14 at 4.10pm.

If you can identify any of the youths, call Bexleyheath CID on 020 8284 9235 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
