PRIMARY school pupils came together to play their recorders at Blackheath Halls.
As part of this year's International Early Music Festival, Hawksmoor Junior School was one of the schools invited to attend a one-day Recorder Massive.
Eight pupils from the Bentham Road, Thamesmead, school played at the Trinity College of Music at Blackheath Halls.
The event was aimed at players of all levels, which ended with a short performance for parents and teachers.
Music teacher Ann Foster said: "It was an opportunity to enthuse young musicians with professional players. Trinity students were also there to direct them."
Other schools involved were Charlton Manor, Indus Road, Greenwich, Our Lady of Lourdes, Belmont Hill, Lewisham, and St Stephen's, Albyn Road, Lewisham.
