FATHER CHRISTMAS was the star of the show at Bursted Wood Primary School's annual Christmas fair.
His grotto did brisk business, with youngsters queuing up to make their Christmas wishes.
Adults in the queue were cheered with mulled wine and mince pies, while Father Christmas's helpers offered pony and cart rides in the school grounds in Swanbridge Road, Barnehurst.
The event was organised by the parents' association and made a profit of more than £1,100 for school funds.
