A COLLEGE has scooped prizes for the third year running in a competition to design TV ads.
Four students from Ravensbourne College of Design and Communication, Chislehurst, won two of the three prizes in the Promax Awards, held in the Grosvenor House Hotel, Park Lane, London.
Chris Ennis, 21, from St Albans, Hertfordshire, Matthias Peters, 23, from Bromley and Peter Hodsman, 22, from Harrow, Middlesex, won the Flextech TV award for their on-screen programme trailers.
Kevin Blanc, 24, from Zurich, Switzerland, won the Hallmark Channel prize for his multi-media advertising campaign to get people watching a TV channel.
He said: "The award was just one part, the other was the event, meeting people, the experience of the conference and the awards night."
The students from the Walden Road college are on the Moving Image Design course, which was also commended for its excellence.
Promax is an international organisation helping people in the promotional business.
