YOUNG people with ambitions of being police officers visited the borough's twin town and learned about German policing.
More than 30 members of the Bromley Volunteer Police Cadets and eight police officers, visited Neuwied, Germany for a week.
The cadets visited all the police departments, including the dog section, and took a boat trip on the Rhine with the river patrol.
PC Neill Tully, who leads the cadets, said: "The highlight of the week saw the cadets on parade in the town square where they proudly presented the mayor with a ceremonial baton and a plaque"
Bromley Volunteer Police Cadets, is an organisation for 14 to 19-year-olds interested in a police career.
