A BARREL organ welcomed people to a Christmas fair raising money for people with a life-threatening illness.
There were 20 stalls offering a range of Christmas goods at the Lions Hospice Christmas Fayre at Woodville Halls, Gravesend.
Visitors could choose from jewellery, books, linen, home-made greetings cards and collectables.
There was also a tombola and a raffle to help raise money for the hospice based in Coldharbour Lane, Gravesend.
The barrel organ playing outside the fair was borrowed from Gravesend Lions Club.
Senior fundraiser Kay Hooker said £2,000 was raised for the hospice.
She said: "It went really well.
"There was a steady stream of people throughout the day."
