CHRISTMAS will be coming to Erith's town centre this Saturday.
To celebrate the new shopping centre's first Christmas, Erith Town Forum has laid on an afternoon of entertainment with acrobatics, street theatre with drama and music, an urban hip-hop dance show and street dance master classes.
There will be Greenwich and Bexley Cottage Hospice stalls and Father Christmas will be there all day with members of Erith Rotary Club.
The Christmas lights will be switched on at 4pm by Bexley mayor Councillor John Shepheard at the Christmas tree in Pier Road, while the choir from Christ Church, Victoria Road, Erith, will sing traditional carols.
