A DISABLED support charity has received a boost for its Christmas party following a donation of £500 from a betting shop.
The Parents' Consortium offers support to disabled children and their families.
It operates from its child and family resource centre, Allsworth Court, in St David's Road, Hextable.
The charity received £500 from the Ladbrokes branch in Swanley Centre.
A central charity fund operated by the firm allowed the shop to make the donation.
Deputy manager Samantha Riley then wrote to businesses asking them to donate raffle prizes for the party to repay the fund.
More than 100 families will attend the party at a soft play area on December 18.
Spokesman Tracey Riley said: "We would obviously like to thank Ladbrokes and everyone else who contributed."
