DANSON Park was closed to the public on Monday morning after a body was found hanging from a tree.
A dog walker discovered the body of a man near the lake at the park in Danson Road, Welling.
Police were called and the man, aged 22, and believed to be from the area, was certified dead at the scene.
Members of the public were quickly cleared from the park and the gates were locked for several hours.
A police spokesman said they were not treating the death as suspicious.
