SOCIAL GROUP: Bridging the Gap South East is holding a meeting tomorrow at 7.30pm in the Maxim Room, St Martin's Church, Erith Road, Barnehurst. It is a social outlet for adults who have autistic spectrum disorder or challenging behaviour. They are welcome to bring their carers along.
PARADE PRIDE: Royal Marines commando Daniel White, 21, from Sidcup was involved in the Remembrance Day parade at the Cenotaph and the Lord Mayor of London's Parade. A former pupil at St Mary and St Joseph's RC School in Chislehurst Road, Sidcup, he joined the Royal Marines last year.
CRIME SPOT: Bexley police's crime prevention team will be in the car park of Queen Mary's Hospital, Chislehurst Road, Sidcup, today from 3.30pm to 6.30pm, advising motorists how to avoid becoming a victim of car crime. The car park has been a hotspot for car crime.
TRUST FUNDS: Mother and daughter employees of Trust Thamesmead, June Wells and Linda Delieu, will spend the night in the cells at Holloway Prison this Saturday to raise cash for Cancer Research UK. To pledge, call 020 8320 4470.
HALL STALLS: Greenwich and Bexley Cottage Hospice is holding a Christmas fair at St John's Church hall, Church Road, Sidcup, this Saturday from 10.30am to 1pm.
