POLICE are appealing for information after a 24-year-old woman was hit by a car on a petrol station forecourt.
The victim was working at the Asda petrol station in Station Road, Greenhithe, when there was a problem with the pumps.
A man driving a purple Ford Escort who had tried to get petrol became upset and drove off the forecourt as the woman came to look at the pump.
The driver then reversed backwards and hit the victim before driving off.
The woman was taken to Darent Valley Hospital.
She was treated for severe bruising.
