A SCHOOL devastated by an arson attack will be out of use for months.
The 40 pupils at the West Kent Hospital School will return to school next week in their temporary home of Longfield youth club, behind Axton Chase School.
The school, which teaches vulnerable children after long-term hospital care, is expected to reopen in three to four months.
The building in Main Road, Longfield, was substantially damaged by the fire on November 16, which police are treating as suspicious.
The neighbouring Phoenix centre pupil referral centre suffered damage to its teachers' room and reopened on Monday.
The Woodview nursery, also on site, has relocated to the Milestone School.
West Kent Hospital School headteacher Jacqueline Locke said: "We are devastated."
