POLICE are appealing for information after bogus callers targeted an 88-year-old woman.
The pensioner was visited at her home, in Derwent Close, Dartford, by three men who claimed they were clearing rubbish.
The men entered her property between 11.55am and 12.10pm and looked around.
They then asked the woman's daughter for some money but left empty-handed when she refused.
The men are described as white and are aged between 25 and 50 years old.
One man is 6ft 1in tall, of slim build with short black hair and wearing dark trousers.
The second man is 5ft 7in tall of stocky build with fair hair wearing beige trousers and a beige coat.
The third man is 5ft 5in tall and of slim build.
