FIVE people were arrested in connection with the killing of Bradford PC Sharon Beshenivsky, following dramatic early-morning raids.
Armed police ambushed two people in a silver off-road vehicle.
A Somali man and a white woman were in the vehicle in Walpole Place, Plumstead, at around 7am on Monday.
Hours later armed police arrested a further three men following a raid on an address in De Havilland Drive, Plumstead.
A sixth man was arrested elsewhere in London following a further armed police operation.
Mother-of-three PC Beshenivsky, 38, was shot dead while attending an armed robbery at a travel agents in Bradford, West Yorkshire, on Friday.
No charges had been brought at the time News Shopper went to press.
