A CONSERVATION partnership is asking the public for help in restoring a pond which used to be central to village life.
The Cliffe Community and Conservation Partnership is asking for ideas and help to ensure the restoration of Allen's Pond in Cliffe Village.
The 40ft-long pond, once an important part of village life as a picnic spot and meeting place, is now empty and covered in weeds.
A consultation and guided walk will be held on Saturday, meeting at the bottom of Pond Hill, Cliffe Village, at 2.30pm.
The partnership is supported by the RSPB.
