YOUNGSTERS hoping to grab a spot in the limelight at the 2012 Olympics should consider taking up fencing.
Swanley's White Oak Leisure Centre in Hilda May Avenue has started offering fencing training for children aged between eight and 13.
The centre runs sessions on Thursdays from 4pm to 5pm and 5pm to 6pm, with each six-week course costing £23.40 for members and £26.70 for non-members.
Yearly centre membership for juniors costs £14.35 and entitles people to discounted use of the centre's facilities, including swimming and court booking.
Fencing coach Paul Romang said: "Fencing is one of the in sports these days and with the Olympics coming up all sports will naturally get a big boost.
"Fencing is not an easy sport but anyone with talent has a chance."
