Langford Russell branch manager Karen Ozkan will be putting her valuation skills under the spotlight when she appears on a new Living TV property programme later this year.

How to Increase the Value of your Home by 10k was filmed in the heart of Bromley with Handy Andy from Changing Rooms.

After valuing a two-bedroom Victorian terraced house in need of total refurbishment, Karen had to give her opinion on what improvements needed to be made.

Andy and his team soon got to work and made the necessary changes in the hope of increasing the value by £10,000, however, there was a twist.

"If Andy and his team failed to improve on the price of the property they would have to pay the difference to the homeowner, out of their own pockets," Karen explains.

"The team only had three days to complete the changes after which I gave another valuation. I won't say if they managed to do it or not, you'll have to tune in to find out."

Karen's accurate valuations are famous throughout Bromley and she has received many letters of thanks as a result.

Karen said: "I have worked within the industry for 15 years and have always lived in the Bromley Borough. I take pride in my work and always provide honest and accurate advice. No longer is selling property about order taking. You need a pro-active team and that's what we have."
