VISITORS to a continental food market were given a taste of things to come.
Around 1,200 people visited the first East Greenwich Food market at The Forum, Trafalgar Road, Greenwich, to sample a range of fresh foods from around the world.
Now organisers have announced the market will become a permanent fixture from March next year.
Visitors to the market had the chance to stock up on a variety of foods, including fresh fish and vegetables.
And the Choc Star van also allowed those with a sweet tooth to enjoy continental chocolate treats.
The market was organised by regeneration group Greenwich Urban Space Management and the East Greenwich Development Agency.
