A CHARITY which supports people who provide full-time care for relatives or friends is offering them individual help.
Carers' Support (Bexley) has recruited a number of volunteers who are available to just sit, chat and share a cup of tea with.
The charity says carers, including parents of disabled children, are often under severe stress and can feel very isolated, with no-one to share their thoughts and feelings with.
Often someone who is not a close relative or family friend can provide a much-needed sympathetic ear.
The meetings can be in the carer's home or another venue.
