BEXLEY'S top boozer has cemented its place as one of the best pubs in London.
Already winner of Bexley Campaign for Real Ale's (Camra) pub of the year competition for six years in a row, the Robin Hood and Little John has taken London's top title for the third time.
The family-run pub in Lion Road, Bexleyheath, now goes forward to Camra's regional final.
Ray and Caterina Johnson and their son Tony, have been running the pub since 1980.
They say scooping both awards again this year has added an extra dimension to their silver jubilee year.
The pub was commended for its variety of beer and Mrs Johnson's home-cooked food.
The Robin Hood and Little John won the London award in 2000 and 2001.
The Johnsons were presented with the London award at the pub by Camra's regional director for London, Steve Williams.
