ACTORS and musicians brought the horrors of the First World War to life in a school play.
The performance of Oh What a Lovely War at Bullers Wood School, St Nicolas Lane, Logs Hill, Chislehurst, was designed to entertain, uplift and shock the audience.
Pupils from Year 8 and Year 13 have been rehearsing since the summer to get the songs, dances and military drills right.
Head of drama Lizzie Queen said: "The students have been brilliant, working with commitment and good humour.
"Gradually, as they pieced together the scenes and episodes of the play, the strong political message came home to them."
