VETERAN charity worker Ennis Smith has begun organising another Christmas parcel collection for British troops serving overseas.
Parcels can be packed with small gifts such as games, videos, stationery, socks, tights, toiletries, sweets, books and other traditional gifts.
No powders (such as talcum powder), glass items or aerosol sprays should be included.
The parcels should also contain a gift to be given to a local child and a Christmas card with the giver's name and address.
If necessary, the parcel should be marked as suitable for a man or a woman.
Parcels can be left at Sainsbury's stores in Bexleyheath and Crayford town centres; the ambulance station in Erith Road, Barnehurst; the Royal British Legion, Iron Mill Lane, Crayford, and the post office and dry cleaners in Crayford Road, Crayford.
The parcels will be collected by the Royal Artillery on December 7.
