ADVENTURERS can trek across the Egyptian desert while raising money for African children thanks to a charity.
The journey across the Sinai Desert is a pilgrimage-style challenge with the opportunity to learn more about the Biblical history of the region, while following in the footsteps of the early Israelites.
Orpington-based Smile International is running the sponsored event.
Each person needs to raise a minimum of £1,000 in sponsorship which goes to needy children.
The trek costs £750 including flights, hotels/camping, meals, insurance, guides and transfers in Egypt.
