A COUPLE plan to sell the contents of their home to raise money for victims of the Asian earthquake.
Lucy Hawkings, 22, was so moved by images showing survivors of the quake, which killed 74,000 people in October, she decided to take action.
With fiance Ash Ghinn, she decided to invite people to their home in Bridlington Close, Biggin Hill, to make "reasonable" offers on their possessions.
They are concerned victims in field hospitals in India and Pakistan would not have enough aid.
The former model said: "If we sold everything in this house, we would still survive the winter, without medical supplies they might not.
"People talk about making poverty history but if we were really sincere we'd make a bigger effort."
Miss Hawkins and Mr Ghinn, 45, who lost his job as an escalator service engineer in July, have already raised £186 from a boot sale and donated £1,000 in savings.
Anyone interested in buying items in the sale which runs until Sunday, should call 07859 912922.
