CHILDREN learned more about keeping safe during a day-long workshop.
The Junior Citizen event, at Beckenham Place Park, Beckenham Hill, taught youngsters aged 10 and 11 more about issues such as fire safety and coping with bullying.
Groups including the police, fire brigade and Network Rail ran information stands during the day.
St John Ambulance also hosted a workshop to encourage more children to learn about first aid and the recovery position.
