THOUSANDS of tree lights will be illuminated to remember loved ones at Christmas.
St Christopher's Hospice, Lawrie Park Road, Sydenham, is inviting people to dedicate a light to someone.
Lights on the remembrance tree in the hospice grounds can be sponsored until January 6 and each donor will receive a remembrance card.
Last year the tree was decorated with around 3,000 lights.
Barabara Monroe, St Christopher's chief executive, said: "We need £12m this year to care for dying people and support families.
"Our tree is a wonderful way of honouring the memory of people who are not with us and helping those who are."
A service of dedication will take place on December 4, at 4pm.
