BLOOD SESSION: People can donate blood at clinics being held in the borough. The first is today at the Royal Oak pub, Bexley Road, Erith, from 1.40pm to 4.30pm, and 5.30pm to 8pm. The second is on November 22, at St Lawrence's Community Centre, Hamilton Road, Sidcup, from 1.45pm to 4.30pm and 5.30pm to 8pm.
THAMES TALK: An evening session of the Thames Gateway Bridge public inquiry takes place tonight from 7pm at Bexley Civic Offices, Broadway, Bexleyheath. Anyone who wants to attend should call inquiry programme manager Graham Groom on 07860 636909.
LIBRARY MEETING: Bexley Village Library, Bourne Road, Bexley, will be hosting a talk about children who were evacuated during the Second World War tonight at 7.30pm. Tickets cost £1.50.
