WELLING EVENING TOWNSWOMEN'S GUILD
Anita and Bernadette, members of the Golden Girls Choir, entertained the guild at our November meeting with a wide range of music ranging from Ivor Novello to Andrew Lloyd-Webber. Their medley of folk songs, songs from the musicals and poetry captivated us all. Anita and Bernadette were warmly thanked by members and we hope to see them again.
We are hoping to organise a visit to The Orchard Theatre in January to see the Christmas pantomime Aladdin'.
The next meeting of the guild in on Friday, December 2 at 7.30pm at Welling Pop-in-Parlour in Bellegrove Road, Welling at the corner of Churchfield Road, near Welling Library when our Christmas party will take place.
New members/visitors can be sure of a warm welcome, why not come along and give us a try?
