NORTH KENT FEDERATION OF TOWNSWOMEN'S GUILDS
On Monday, October 31, the North Kent Federation of Townswomen's Guilds held their Arts and Crafts Exhibition at the Sherard Hall, United Reformed Church, Eltham.
The judges were Jane Letley, Helen Simpson and Jean Welch for the arts and crafts and Brian Huson for the Photography. The standard of work entered was excellent.
The guild with the most marks was Blackheath and they were presented with a shield, and the best in show was an embroidered owl entered by Win McKenzie from Welling Evening Guild.
In spite of the weather it was well attended by all the guilds belonging to the North Kent Federation which are: Bexleyheath Afternoon, Bexleyheath Morning, Dartford Central, Eltham Afternoon, Eltham Park Afternoon, Lee Evening, Mottingham Evening, Sidcup Afternoon and Welling Evening.
