IN TWENTY years' time users of Bexleyheath's Central Library will be opening a time capsule.
The creation of the time capsule was part of the many celebrations to mark the £2m upgrade of the library, in Townley Road, which took nine months to complete.
Youngsters took part in a competition to decide what to put into the capsule.
They were asked to think of things which would give a picture of children's lives in 2005.
The most popular items were the music CD Now That's What I Call Music 61, a mobile phone, and a book by author Jacqueline Wilson.
The winners of the competition were Chelsea Taylor, Christine Tang, Toby Jones and Ayomide Ogunkoya and they were invited to place the items in the capsule before it was sealed into one of the library walls.
