LONDON taxi fares are set to rise by 4.3 per cent on average from Saturday.
Minister for Transport in London Glenda Jackson said the minimum charge for a black cab jorney in London will be £1.40.
Supplements for evening and weekend work will also increase, and the supplement for working over Christmas and New Year will rise by £1 to £3.
