Patrick Moore returns to the Catford theatre to give the third in a series of his celebrity lectures about space exploration.

Using the latest colour slide technology, Moore will this time tell the story of some of the great (and often highly-eccentric) figures in astronomy and space exploration from historic times.

They are all there -- from the Chinese Hsi and Ho (executed for not predicting an eclipse) to Gallileo who first turned a telescope skywards.

There's also pieces on Sir Issac Newton, Haqlley, Lowell and Einstein.

The show, taking place at Lewisham Theatre, Rushey Green, Catford, next Thursday, June 1, at 7.30pm is suitable for all ages. Tickets are £8.50 (£6.50 concs) from 020 8690 0002.
