A pathway representing the life of Jesus will be the focus of an exhibition held in Acton Town Hall from Monday.

The pathway, which gives schoolchildren an interactive story tour of Jesus' life, is the key attraction of the exhibition of Christianity, the sixth in an annual series organised by Ealing Council's Standing Advisory Council for Religious Education (SACRE).

'Each year has featured a different faith to encourage the whole of this multi-ethnic and and multi-faith community to learn more about our neighbours,' said Councillor Rev Neil Richardson, chairman of SACRE.

Other attractions of the exhibition, which runs until July 21, are music, dance and creative workshops, as well as information about different denominations, bibles from around the world and Christian aid at home and overseas.

A formal opening will be held in the town hall in Acton High Street on Tuesday from 7pm until 10pm.

Presentations on the opening night include a short play based on the words of Jesus by the choir of Douay Martyrs School in Ickenham, a dance presentation by children from Acton Baptist Church and Panjabi and Urdu hymns sung by Christians from the Southall Church of God.
