Tales from Africa and the Caribbean brought some sunshine into Acton Library on Friday.
The storytelling for three to five-year-olds was accompanied by music and dance and was part of the borough's Black History Month.
The stories told by Afro-Caribbean percussionist, singer and teacher Winston Nzinga, who has enchanted children throughout Britian, Africa and the Caribbean, illustrated universal peace, symbolised by animals and nature.
An estimated 20 children gathered in the High Street library to hear his traditional and contemporary tales.
