December 6, 2000 10:19: Two new trees have been planted in front of Staines police station last week to replace birches that had to be cut down earlier this year.
The original trees were part of a group that had originally shaded generations of children in the old Kingston Road Junior School, which stood on the site for almost 100 years before the new police station was built in 1998.
