March 6, 2001 19:44: Welcome to Selhurst Park for tonight's Division One clash between promotion hopefuls Birmingham City and the Eagles. The home side are still smarting from Saturday's comprehensive towelling by Preston North End and a similar public and private rollicking from Palace boss Alan Smith, and will be looking to make amends against the beaten Worthington Cup finalists tonight. The headline team news is that Clinton Morrison, who took a knock and was a quiet performer at the weekend, is on the bench tonight, with Palace lining up Dougie Freedman and Mikael Forssell in attack. Birmingham, meanwhile, have a largely unchanged side from the weekend. So with promotion and relegation issues for both teams to fight for, this should be an exciting battle. Our live coverage continues this Saturday with the "away" fixture at Selhurst between Palace and Wimbledon - and we'll be there for every kick of the action. In the meantime, I'm Steven Baxter - email me with any queries or comments at sbaxter@london.newsquest.co.uk - enjoy the game!
