* On Saturday the Academy under-17s and under-19s were in action away at Southampton. The under-17s drew their match 2-2 with goals from Samuel Togwell and Teeratep Winothai. The under-19s won their fixture 3-1 with goals from Wayne Routledge, Adolph Amoako and Craig Dobson.
* On Monday the reserves beat Luton Town 1-0 at Dulwich Hamlet. Welsh under-21 international Gareth Williams scored the only goal. Last Wednesday at Northampton the reserves fielded 16-year-old Academy goalkeeper Lance Cronin. They won 3-1 helped in no small way by Lance, the youngest goalkeeper to represent the club at this level.
* The club have received enquiries regarding some music played at the ground on match days. We can confirm the music played before the team takes the field is "Zombie Nation" by Kernkraft and when the team score the track is The Three Amigos' "Twenty Miles from home."
* Don't forget the match against Norwich City will be on Sunday, October 28 kicking off at 2.15pm. Wear your home or away shirt for this match and you will have the chance to win a shirt signed by Steve Bruce and the entire squad.
* At the Norwich match we are having a half-time parade of shirts from over the years. Supporters who would like to be part of that parade should call me at the club to get involved and take your place in a special team photo.
* As part of our Family Day against Crewe Alexandra there will be a free childs ticket given with every full paying adult ticket bought before Friday, November 16, subject to availability.
