DETECTIVES are investigating two indecent assaults which happened on the same day.
The first happened at 7.15am, on Saturday, November 3, as a 20-year-old student was walking down Heath Road in Crayford near Valley Road. A youth came up behind the young woman then grabbed and groped her before running away along Valley Road.
He was white, aged about 16, with collar-length mousy hair worn in a middle parting. He was wearing a grey fleece jacket, dark blue jeans and blue and white trainers.
The second assault took place at 4.35pm the sameday. A 15-year-old girl had got off a bus and was walking down Walnut Tree Road, on the library side of the road, towards West Street.
As she reached the corner of West Street a man walking along the street put his arm out in front of her to stop her from going any further and then indecently assaulted her. He ran off towards Riverside swimming pool.
The man was white, in his mid-20s, about 6ft 1ins tall, slim and with collar-length, unkempt dark brown hair.
He was wearing cream jeans, trainers, dark blue shirt, black jumper with a collar and a blue cap.
If you have information about either attack call Detective Constable Derek Thomson 020 8284 9131.
