A NIGHT OUT: There will be an evening of entertainment at Shears Green Community Hall, Northfleet, on Saturday (November 17), in aid of Alzheimers Dementia Support Services. The music and drama night, organised by Emannuel Baptist Church Shears Green Fellowship, will be at the Westcott Avenue hall from 7pm. Admission is £1.

CARE FOR BACKS: Gravesham MP Chris Pond has put his back into a campaign to help up to 22,000 people in the area. Supporting an event to launch the UK Charter for Back Care, aiming to persuade employers to make workplaces "back friendly", Mr Pond says backache is the largest single cause of absence from work.
